Since our beginning in 1998 we have worked closely with a variety of manufactures on successful programs designed to reduce and prevent injuries.


Program Features:
1. Analysis of Company injury data and statistics – to identify problem areas, positions or tasks to focus on during the program roll out.
2. Work Risk Analysis – overview of work areas and tasks, with recommendations for improvement which may include: training, equipment recommendations, stretching program, manager and employee training.
3. Job Site Analysis - Specific, high-risk area job evaluation and ergonomic engineering assessment; information also obtained is specific functional job demands that can be used in pre-hire assessments, return to work assessments, medical determinate on return to work restrictions, and used to bolster and update company job descriptions as well.
4. Educational Program Development - Long term, reinforcing training of managers and employees on the five “E’s” of injury elimination: ergonomics, education, exposure reduction, empowerment, and exercise.
5. Injury prevention program development - Industry and job task specific program designed to reduce sprain and strain injuries. Specific attention is directed to back injuries and cumulative trauma disorders. Program designed to reduce work task related injuries workers comp costs, and have lasting effects on your employees. The impact of this programming positively effecting employees lives both on and off the job.
6. Ergonomic Analysis Enhancement - Work Station and job task analysis with particular emphasis on effectively matching human body type with work tasks and available tools.
7. Job Description Enhancement - Job task review which is a comparison and updating of job description to best match documentation with current and accurate work tasks. This in turn enhances the health care professionals ability to effectively return employees to work at safe and effective levels and within reasonable time frames.
8. Pre Employment Functional Testing - A series of specific activities/tasks selected to best mimic the particular physical challenges of the position of employment. This test series is used to assess physical readiness of the employee to initiate safely the requirements of the job. Provides the employer with baseline information to compare against should the tested employee incur an injury.

The Injury Prevention and Claims/Cost Control Program leverages our staff resources and Utility business experience to educate employees and management on the proper application of ergonomic and injury prevention techniques that will reduce the incidence, severity and, ultimately, the cost of work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WRMSDs).
