Freightliner is one manufacturing company that utilizes an onsite Body Mechaniques clinic. Two therapists provide service at the plant, treating employees who have suffered a workplace injury, plus working with management to ensure ergonomically safe work practices for employees.

"We're able to offer our employees this benefit at a nominal cost to the company. We simply refurbished an unused area for Body Mechaniques' office and treatment room. But the benefits are far greater than the cost. The workers don't lose several hours in travel each time they go for therapy - it's right here. Their appointments can be right before their shift or right afterward - it's convenient for everyone. It used to require three hours for an employee to leave work, drive to the rehab office and drive back. Now they get treatment at work and they continue working.
